Everyone Can Feel Good in Swimwear

"Whatever reason or purpose you have for going in the water there is swimwear that you can feel good in and that will suit your needs, including mastectomy swimwear. Regardless of your size, your age or your activity there will be a swimsuit that provides the comfort and coverage you need." Today there is an excellent variety and wide range of options in specialty swimwear designs. Designs include mastectomy swimwear, maternity swimwear, water aerobic accessories, thermal and sun protective swimwear, wetsuits, sports swimwear, plus sized swimwear, high fashion swimwear and of course the large variety of women’s and men’s swimwear. Mastectomy swimwear is special swimwear needed for women who have had a breast removed. The swimwear includes a special pocket sewn in to hold the breast prosthesis in place during even the most vigorous of activities. The swimsuits come in a wide variety of designs to include either low or high necklines, wide or thin straps and skirted or saronged styles so your options certainly aren’t limited. A major concern among some women is that the breast forms may be affected by exposure to chlorine from swimming or heats from sunbathing, manufacturers agree this isn’t true. Another concern is that the weight of the prosthesis may be too heavy for a swimsuit. The bathing suits manufactured today are specifically made with the strongest stitching and proper fabrics to ensure not only comfort but also piece of mind. The maternity swimwear designed today has never been more practical or fashionable. Maternity swimsuits come in both two- piece and one-piece suits. The swimsuits are made with extra lining in the places that need it; most designs have built in soft-cup bras. Tankini designs come in slightly larger belly covering lengths and swimdress suits are available for more coverage. The selections of cover -ups come in both skirt and hooded designs, the skirts are often double lined with elastic waistbands. There are so many great manufacturers offering an endless array of designs and various soft stretchy fabrics that you’re ensured a comfy fit during any stage of pregnancy. There are also wonderful nursing bathing suits on the market, which offer proper post pregnancy belly cover-up with built in bras for use when nursing baby. Water aerobics is a great all around form of aerobic exercise and an excellent form of cardio fitness. Water aerobics are safe for all ages, as the water causes your body to be buoyant, thus causing less strain and stress on your joints and muscles. Some of the special aerobic water accessories are wrist and ankle weights, active belts, aqua mats, exercise balls, aqua steps, water shoes and barbells. Many of the accessories are covered in neoprene fabric offering comfort to the wearer and chlorine resistance. The active belt is used to promote correct posture while supporting the lower back and toning abdominal muscles. The wrist and ankle weights are used for resistance to get the maximum workout, the cuffs come in various weights for different levels of fitness. It’s a good idea to purchase one of the many sports swimsuits available when doing water aerobics so you’re ensured a swimsuit that will stand up to your exercise routine. Thermal wear and sun protective swimwear are two popular ways to provide your children with either warmth or protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. Thermal wear suits are made from a specially treated, heat reflective neoprene material. The thermal swimsuits allow children to maintain their warmth safely while still allowing for the freedom of movement necessary. The sun protective swimwear manufactured today usually has an SPF of 50 (the highest rating for fabric) and most brands offer approximately a 98% sun block. The suits are made of a nylon-lycra mix, which is lightweight and fast drying. The sunsuits come in a variety of designs to include; baby, children and adult designs; sun hats and sunsuits combined with buoyancy aids. What an excellent way to protect both you’re children and yourself from the sun. Water Sports swimwear is quite different than the standard swimsuits available for swimming and sunbathing. Water sports such as wakeboarding, wind surfing, surfing, water skiing, diving and jet skiing often require swimwear that offers both warmth and protection from extended time in cold waters. Most wetsuits are made from a specially treated heat reflective neoprene material, which helps people maintain their warmth while providing flexibility and comfort. Wetsuits are available in a wide variety of designs such as; one piece body suits with either long or short sleeves; rash and UV guards (similar to a long or short sleeved t-shirt) with hoods; gloves and boots; wetsuits with hoods. The innovative wetsuits are amazingly flexible and durable providing years of water fun. Popular manufacturers of sportswear make excellent quality sports swimwear. These swimsuits like the standard swimsuits come in a wide variety of designs, but are specifically made to endure endless hours of activity in the pool, the suits must provide proper fit and comfort in a long lasting design often used by lifeguards and competitors. As much as the look of the swimsuit is important it is secondary to the fit and durability. Sports swimwear can include; competition swimwear, accessories, training suits, lifeguard suits and practice suits. The swimwear is also includes options such as swim caps, warm-ups, parkas and towels. Proper fit of your swimsuit is essential whether you’re petite, tall or plus sized. You want to be sure that your swimsuit is neither too small nor too large ensuring the swimsuit provides comfort, flexibility and durability. Plus sized swimsuits come in an excellent variety of designs to include one and two pieces suits from tankini suits to skirted suits. Regardless of your size there is a suit that will fit you properly, with swimsuits made in special bra cup sizes while offering extra lining to provide full coverage. Designer Swimwear is a popular line for many high fashion designers. There is no shortage on the extraordinary styles and options out there. If you are in the market for a swimsuit with that “extra something” you can find swimsuits with lovely hand sewn water drops, crystals and beads. There are swimsuits that with special technology allow you to tan through the suit, there are bust enhancing suits and tummy control suits; there really is no limit to what you can find. With all the specialty suits mentioned we can’t forget the variety of regular women and men’s suits available. There are styles, colors and fabric designs to fit anyone’s tastes. Swimsuits in one and two- piece varieties for women and the classic swim trunks, shorts and racers for men. Whatever reason or purpose you have for going in the water there is swimwear that will suit your needs. Regardless of your size, your age or your activity there will be a swimsuit that provides the comfort and coverage you need. If you are planning to be out in the sun always remember to apply proper sunscreen, SPF 30 is a good idea, you also don’t want to forget your sun hats, sunglasses and beach towels.

Fashionistas of the world have confirmed that this seasons fashion trends have shoes and high heels at the forefront of them. Shoe designers have humbly accepted the challenge of creating fashion provoking shoes and have proven their artistic creativity better than you would have ever wanted in this recession-hit period. If you are committed to fashion, it's going to be really hard for you to resist the temptation of maxing out your credit card this winter, what with the wide variety of must have shoes and high heels.

Heel Trends for Winter

This winter the drop in temperature does not necessarily mean you need to drop your heels too! While there are a lot of exciting flat ankle boots and cute sandals for those who prefer to play it safe and comfortable on flats, there are a lot more tempting high heel shoe options for those who don't give a damn about aching calves and sore toes, but rather want to be in the fashion limelight.

The dagger like stiletto with killer high heels of four inches and above will be there to add a touch of sexiness to winter skirts and dresses. Though you may also notice a bit of innovation to stilettos this season as shoe designers have increased the height of the heel and added a platform to the shoe. Another trend of winter 2009 is thick high heel covered in the same fabric as the shoe itself - so make sure you keep a look out for those and add a pair to your collection. Wedge heels are expected to evolve in style and design this season too, and thus don a more interesting appearance over all.

If heels aren't for you, then don't worry at all, as ballet flats are predicted to maintain there popularity and will be found in a variety of cute colors and fabrics. Look out for vintage looking satin ballet flats and be as hot as an A-list celeb.

Electronics - The Perfect Gift

Whether you're shopping for birthdays, graduations, or the holidays, finding great gifts for kids can be difficult. Although you're inundated with television commercials touting the latest toys and electronics, and the choices may seem overwhelming, most toys and electronics fade as fast as a sheet of wrapping paper left out in the sun. The trick to buying gifts for kids - whether they're your own or someone else's - is to select toys and electronics with longevity. Here are some suggestions:

Gaming Consoles: An Xbox, a Playstation, or a GameCube is a great gift for boys and girls who are into gaming. As the child grows and develops, his or her tastes in games may change, but the gaming console will still be useful. Even as new generations of gaming consoles are developed, the Xbox, Playstation and GameCube will continue in popularity, in large part because there are so many video games available for those platforms.

Video Games: If you're shopping for a kid who already has a gaming console and who is an avid player, video games make the perfect gift. Prior to making a selection, it's helpful to know which video games your intended recipient already owns and what genre of games he or she enjoys. When choosing a game, pay attention to its rating: a rating of "E" is for everyone, a rating of "T" is for teens, and a rating of "M" is for adults. You may also want to check websites that have video games reviews to ensure that the title you're selecting is considered to have good playability.

Toys: Selecting the proper toys is greatly dependant upon the ages of the children for whom you're buying gifts. There are many electronics toys available for children ranging in age from toddlers to teens. When choosing electronics toys, it's best to think long-term. The best toys are versatile enough to grow with the child, so that he or she can enjoy them for years, rather than months.

Jewelry: Little girls and big girls alike love jewelry. A keepsake piece, such as a bracelet or necklace, will be something she will treasure for the rest of her life. Costume jewelry is also fun for a variety of ages. Little girls can use it to play dress-up, while teens can use costume jewelry to accessorize according to the latest fads. Elementary-age girls will also love jewelry craft kits, so that they can create their own masterpieces.

Sports: Whether the kid is a player or a fan, you can't go wrong in selecting a sports-related gift. From a jersey with his favorite player's number to a soccer ball she can use for practice, a sports gift will always be appreciated.

Expressing Yourself With T-Shirts Some Tips

T-shirts can provide a lasting impression on your life and those around you. Through simple illustrations and slogans they immediately show your current feelings or opinions.

Vintage t-shirts will bring up situations from the long ago past. They can be anything from funny to rude and offensive, to sayings, to your favorite rock band of yore, to baby tees. And don't forget putting a t-shirt on your dog.

In my own experience I have been a cancer survivor for 5 1/2 years. In my first summer my struggle inspired my sister-in-law to get active in the Tacoma, Washington Relay For Life program of the American Cancer Society. Every spring they host a weekend walk and fund raiser. A large part of that walk is the Survivor's walk celebrating all those people currently battling cancer and those who are cancer free.

All the survivors walking in that event are given purple t-shirts with the Relay For Life logo on the front. On the back is the saying: I Am... Living Breathing Inspiration.

I love wearing my t-shirt with that saying on it both for my own feelings and for the inspiration of those around me.

Another situation involved a camping/hiking trip my partner and I took several years ago in the Columbia River gorge near The Dalles, Oregon. This was the year the Sesquicentennial of the Oregon Trail was being reenacted. A replica of the 1843 wagon trains was in progress coming all the way from the mid-west to Portland, Oregon.

When we joined them they had arrived in The Dalles and were camping out at a large fair grounds. After square dancing the night before, we set out on foot hiking with the train for that day's journey, a distance of about 18 miles.

When we got up the next morning and were about to leave the train, we came on a fellow in a wheel chair who was selling t-shirts. He said they were his own original design, in this case a fine pencil sketch of the Oregon Trail at Barlow Pass. I bought one on the spot both to support him in his efforts and for my own memory of the occasion. I still wear that tee shirt and think of the fun my girl friend and I had on that trip.

The next obvious use of t-shirts is if you're a sports fan. In my own case as a long suffering Seattle Seahawks fan, I still wear the tattered t-shirt I bought in 1983 that reads "1983 Play-Offs" along with the team logo on the front. I guess that hasn't been the last playoffs we've been in, but it sure seems like it.

So get out there and express yourself with a t-shirt. Buy one or get online to design your own. I think every aspect of life has been shown on a t-shirt and every new experience that shows up seems to wind up on a tee shirt.

Girl's Best Friend Are Diamonds

The diamond is a sparking gemstone of brilliance and fire that has inspired and fascinated mankind throughout the ages. As seen in history, it has been a testament to the strength of kings, the magic of mystics, the courage of warriors and to the love of a worthy man to his bride-to-be.

And in these modern times, due to its popularity, value and universal appeal, it seems that women all over want their own diamond, especially when it comes in the form of an engagement ring.

Ever since the unforgettable 1947 "A diamond is forever" slogan coined by advertising agency N.W. Ayer for De Beers, a diamond trading company, men have proposed to their wives going down on one knee and presenting that solitaire diamond engagement ring.

But this tradition actually started in 1477, when Archduke Maximillian of Austria presented Mary of Burgundy with a diamond ring. These days, the groom who does not cough up an expensive diamond engagement ring for his bride-to-be is viewed as either a cheapskate or unromantic.

What is it about the diamond that appeal to women? Men look to diamonds more for its value as either a commercial gemstone or for use in industrial applications. But for women, it seems that a diamond stands for love and romance. If Cupid would ever shoot an arrow through their heart, it better be an arrow tipped with diamonds.

Recently, diamonds have also stood for a woman's independence, as exemplified by another De Beers advertising campaign that encouraged women to wear a diamond ring on their right hand.

This emphasized veering away from traditional engagement rings that are usually worn on the left hand and implied that women did not need men to buy them diamonds, or that being engaged or married were the only reasons to wear one.

Diamond sales went up after this campaign, which got a lot of attention, as women wanted to prove their independence, financially or otherwise.

But what is it about diamonds that turn a woman on? These precious gemstones are actually just made of ordinary carbon, simpler even than other gems and minerals.

But as simple as carbon sounds, natural diamonds are probably the oldest thing you'll ever own, as it is created in a painstaking formation that takes thousands, if not millions of years.

This natural formation, along with the process and length of time to get these diamonds mined and make them into the brilliant gems that they truly are, is might be what appeals to women.

Women might also love diamonds because they re expensive.

Although diamonds are not really known for their retail value, as they have no fixed world market price per gram, it is ironic that women crave it so much because of it is expensive. What else proves a man's love than a huge credit card bill?

Women like feeling that they are pampered and spoiled, whether they buy their own diamond jewelry, or a boyfriend or husband gifts one to them. So whatever else the reason is, diamonds are certainly known to be a girl's best friend.

So Easy Christmas Shopping

Christmas time should be a time of peace and happiness...right? So why is it that it seems so darned stressful starting the day after Thanksgiving? Well it doesn't have to be.

For years I used to dread that time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was the time when I had to do the dreaded Christmas shopping. Driving through what seemed like rush hour traffic to get to the malls, only to find my parking spot so far away, I might as well walked from home. Then fighting the crowds of crazy people (people who certainly seem sane the rest of the year), for that one special item the store never seems to have enough of, only to finally get to the checkout and find that the cashier is only working part time during this joyous season and hasn't really been trained on how to process my 10% off coupon that I so desperately want to use.

Maybe your shopping experiences have been different, but mine seemed to always be about the same, until the day the light bulb came on! That is the day I decided to do my Christmas shopping online.

Whoa you say! That doesn't seem very Christmaslike. Let me be the first to say that at first I was very resistant.I had always used the internet to research the things I was interested in buying, but then I would hop in the car and go to the mall and actually make the purchase. It just seemed like the thing to do.

But then one day it hit me. It was the moment that I realized how much it was actually costing me to NOT shop online. My moment came one day about fifteen years ago. I was doing my "then very slow" research to see where I could find the cheapest price for a new pillow for my bed.

I could stay home and in 15 minutes or less, I could buy my pillow and have it shipped to my house for a ton less than hopping in the car and going to get it. From that moment on, I became a super online shopper.

Now every Christmas I look for the websites that give FREE shipping around the holidays and I get my shopping done in no time at a fraction of the former cost. Now if I go to the mall, it is just so I can sit and watch the rest of the world do what I used to dread. My oh my I love Christmas shopping! I hope you save yourself some money this shopping season and enjoy it too.

Affordable Fashion

Everybody wants to look good and fashionable. For most, this means watching the designer's up and coming collections for what is in style. Unfortunately, most ordinary people are limited to the chain boutiques and department stores. But you can get affordable fashion for less money IF you know where, and when, to look.

Every year, the industry's biggest designers come up with a new line of clothing. These lines are showcased at fashion shows in major cities like Los Angeles or New York. Well that's all great and good but the ordinary person (you or me) can't even get in the door at those fashion shows. Even if we could, we wouldn't be able to afford the designer price tags!

So what happens is boutiques and fashion stores across the country buy lots of the new line items. Sometimes they purchase too much and end up with a surplus at the end of the season.

What do you think these stores do with the surplus goods?

Answer: They sell them at a deeply discounted price to retail outlets or to online inventory liquidators.

In either case, the shopper ends up with a piece of high fashion at a retail store price. That can be a significant saving.

Where to look

Final stop stores as well as retail outlets in some cases. Some retail outlets have celebrities with their own line of clothing. For instance, Topshop has a line of Kate Moss clothing.

Don't rule out the second hand stores either! These places can have new items on the rack at any time.

When to look

The best time to buy winter clothes is in the summer. The idea is to shop for your seasonal clothing or items out of season or at the end of each of the seasons. For example, it is common to find winter coats at a deep discount in March each year.

Remember to shop out of the season you are in at the moment. The savings can be fantastic and you may be pleasantly surprised at what you can find available.

Adding to the possibilities is the advent of shopping online, which has its own sets of advantages. You can find deals on designer fashions that are only available online. There are no lines to contend with, cash to carry around (or lose!), no "stock outs" to deal with, no driving miles to the next store just to be disappointed and no parking problems, not to mention the fuel money savings.

Plus, you can shop online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from the comfort of your home. Imagine trying to walk through those big superstores in your near!

The main point of the whole thing is this: You can get great deals on BIG fashion by being smart and watching the calendar. If you visit the store, know when to go, what you are going for and where you can find it for the lowest price. If you shop online, the sky is the limit!

More Information to Do With Wireless Outdoors Speakers

We all know how much fun it is just to relax outdoors with friends and family and either talk or just pass time. Some people prefer to barbecue and invite friends and family and just have a good time. The items you will find on a great outdoor expedition or outing is a barbecue pit and some music for most people. When it comes to music some people have someone playing music while in some occasions people simply carry their radios and other CD players and just have the music playing. Since people will probably not huddle in one place and will be spread out, there is a need to spread the speakers as well. This meant long wires. Sometimes the wires are simply not that long and this poses a limitation as far as the music is concerned. But recent advances in music technology has the picture changing with the advent of wireless outdoor speakers which do not require any wires to be connected between the receiver and the speakers themselves.

Wireless speakers employ more or less the same technology that is employed in cordless phone. The device or system consists of a tuner or receiver and then a set of speakers. The music player plays the tune and converts the CD signals from digital to analog. These signals are them transmitted into the air and a decoder usually located inside the speakers converts the signals into digital sound which we appreciate.

The technology behind how wireless outdoors speakers works allows the speakers to work on a range of 900 MHz which is almost the same as a good wireless or cordless phone. The signals can also travel through walls making the speaker placement extremely flexible. This means that the distance limitations imposed by wires are no longer present with wireless speakers. They can thus be placed anywhere and even away from where they can be damaged.

Wireless outdoor speakers can be purchased at most major electronic stores. The chances are if you can find a store that sells stereo equipment or home entertainment units then the chances are great that you will find a wireless outdoor speakers store. These speakers are especially popular with the same people who purchase iPods and other portable music devices. This is because they are the ideal and do not require one to even transport CDs.

EBay is another great place to purchase wireless outdoors speakers. This is because EBay is the largest market place on the planet and one would be hard-pressed not to find excellent speakers are extremely affordable prices.

Wireless outdoor speakers are also great for the indoors. This is because there are no cumbersome wires to contend with. One can also place the speakers away from the receiver and since the sound can traverse through walls, the speakers can be placed in different rooms from the tuner itself. This is ideal especially for people that want speakers in places like the kitchen or bedroom.
